The packet
Six pages your association can read in five minutes
Every review board asks for something slightly different. We build the packet from what yours asks for, and you print it and hand it in.
- 01
The house and the owner
Address, owner name and the date of the request, so the board can file it.
- 02
Your three colors
Body, trim and door, with the maker's color names and codes and where each one goes.
- 03
The test square
A photo of each color painted on your own wall, taken in daylight.
- 04
The scope of work
What is being painted, what is repaired first and what is not touched.
- 05
The schedule
A start window and how long the work usually takes, with a note on weather.
- 06
Our insurance certificate
With your association named as certificate holder when it asks.
Before you hand it in
You read it first
Latrina drafts the packet from the color visit, and you read it before it goes anywhere. If your board has its own form, we fill that in too.
The board decides. We don't promise an approval, and we answer a board's questions about the work if they have any.

Questions
Association questions
How long does a board take?
That is up to your association. Some meet monthly, some answer by email. Ask yours before you plan a start date.
Does a historic district want something different?
Often, yes. Some districts review colors, materials and details, and may want more than a color name. Ask for their guidelines and send them to us.
What if the board says no?
We adjust the colors with you, paint a new test square and refile. The estimate does not change for a different color of the same paint.
Who hands the packet in?
You do, as the owner. We can come to a meeting to answer questions if the board asks.
Ask for the packet
Tell us your neighborhood and we will ask for the form your board uses.
